But supposedly he told my bestie that he likes me so what do I do he just wants to be friends but ikt it will be severely awkward on monday (its take ur child to work day) what do I do now?

At least he was honest . I’m glad that at 11 years old he has other things to focus on !! You should find other things to worry about besides boys too and I don’t care if people comment on here saying I’m the worst for saying that , it’s true ! 11 is way too freaking young. Girl I’m 17 and this has happened to me about 3 times lol. Honestly that guy was really mature about it, and I promise you that it’s nothing personal! People like who they like and dating and relationships can be complicated when you’re young. Best advice I can give ya is to be direct and honest with the other person, be respectful, be kind, and even though you’ll naturally change a little as you get older, don’t pretend to be someone/compromise your values to get someone to like you.
