I breastfed and pumped for 9 1/2 months. But I recently had to start my MS medication and had to stop breastfeeding. I talked to a nurse about the best way to deplete my milk supply and she said not to pump at all. So I stopped pumping right away even when I felt engorged. Now my breasts are ridiculously hard and painful. I believe it’s possibly clogged milk ducts. I know the way to relieve that is breastfeeding, but I can’t anymore. Any suggestions?
