So, my wife and I are expecting and we recently started telling people. And we are finding a lot of people ask “how did you do it?” To us, we feel that that’s a bit personal and not anyone’s business. I mean would anyone ask a heterosexual couple how they did it?

I don’t have trouble telling the truth about how it was done (at home insemination) to those who are close to us. Just not to the whole world.

I’m hoping for some different perspective and suggestions on how to deal with that kind of question. Maybe we are over reacting, I don’t know. Any direction would be helpful. I don’t want to get to a point where I respond to someone rashly and tarnish a relationship.
