Do you and you S/O celebrate Valentine’s Day?

We don’t. My husband isn’t from the US & so he finds valentine’s day utterly pointless. He says love should be celebrated every day and not just some random day of the year. It’s just a holiday for stores to make money & nothing else. Tbh, in the beginning, I was with him. I wholeheartedly held the same belief (though I did grow up in the us & celebrated v day every year). But now, years later, I find myself sometimes longing to do something special on this day. But his mind hasn’t changed one bit. 😔

And just to be clear- I don’t knock anyone for celebrating the holiday, it just has never been for us. If you like it, great for you and yours!
