Are pillows lame?

I saw my bf has old small flat pillows and I decided to get him some for Valentine’s Day.

Is this a lame gift? I’m also getting him a book about war stuff cause he’s into that and a night sky frame of the night we met. Like this one:

But are the pillows weird? Like rude? Like oh you have old flat pillows here are some new ones..

I think it's sweet. It goes beyond shallow gifts and shows another level of care. I would love to get something like that.

Useful gifts are my FAVORITE gifts to give and receive. It just shows you really are thinking into it and applying yourself. My man melts more for a thoughtful gift whether it’s pillows or a diy gift!

It's very thoughtful, BUT i (for example) have a hard memory foam pillow and i love it! My OH hates it as he likes soft flatter pillows and we are very different in our pillow choices 😂
Your bf may simply have not changed his pillows 'cos he likes them like that. 
I hate when someone fucks with my pillows haha 
As i said though, v. thoughtful and if he doesn't like them then you can use them to sleep on when you stay over!

I think to add to his pillow gift make his favorite breakfast and serve him it to him in bed. My hubby loves when I do this. Bring the pillows first then surprise him with a great meal.

Heck no. I was grocery shopping today and my husband always eats our sons fruit snacks so I wrapped him up a box and let my son draw in a card for him for v day. I love gifts other people wouldn't think of bc they are needed or something somebody really loves. And I got my husband his favorite chocolate!
