I figured I'd give it a shot to come here for any possible insight, since I can't seem to find anything elsewhere online.

I've been taking 28 day pills since April, but I recently decided I wanted to take my pills continuously to hopefully eliminate my period for a while. I spoke with someone from my doctor's office recently, and through a couple weeks of phone tag and me not getting full answers to my questions, I finally got switched onto a 21 day pill as of yesterday and picked it up today... but I wasn't told what I should do with it.

Basically, I don't know if I should finish my current pill pack and THEN go to the new one, or if I should just jump into the new one starting tomorrow (since it's Sunday, the start of a new week). And I can't try to ask my doctor because their office isn't open again until Monday!

Normally I would probably just think to move onto the new one without finish my current one, to get my body used to the new one sooner. But my main concern with finishing my current pack is really that my insurance company would be paying for my NEW one weeks prior to when I'd actually be using it... because my current pack is only one week done, meaning I still have 2 more weeks (of actives) before I'd start my new one.

I'm sorry this is so long and probably confusing, but I can't get a hold of my doctor until Monday so I figured I'd see if anyone here had any advice whether through knowledge or experience! Thanks much in advance
