Bouncer vs. Rock n’ play

So I specifically registered for the Graco Duetconnect since it’s a swing and bouncer combined (we live in a small house and have very limited room, so didn’t want any extras we didn’t need, and figured this would save some space!)

A relative sent us a fancy rock n’ play and said “I noticed you hadn’t registered for one, and I know you’re a first timer and didn’t know any better, but you NEEDED one of these.” I’m very grateful. But I had a method to my madness.

Do we really need both? What’s the benefit to having both? We’ll keep both if it’s worth it.
