God gave us two gifts in January 2019

Tracy

One year after we stopped BC, my fiance had a saddle pulmonary embolism (1/23/19) and I almost lost him at home. On the 5th day of him being in ICU at the University of Kentucky I went home (1 1/2 hours away) to get some more clothes and small things for our stay at the hospital. While there I decided to test because I had missed AF but assumed it was from all of the stress and shock of everything I had been through the previous week. I test multiple times every month but not this month, this month I didn't even think about it. I was only thinking about his health and praying that he would be ok. After taking one and seeing it was positive, I took 2 more the same day and a couple more in the days to come to see if they were darker.

I am beyond thankful that he is still here with us after all of this. (He was told at 2 different hospitals that he needed to buy a lottery ticket and he was lucky to be here) and on top of the wonderful news that he is healing we have another baby on the way. God is good!!

Today 2/2/19 we are home!! He is on oxygen when he sleeps due to all the damaged/dead lung tissue from such a massive blood clot but he is improving. I am still scared daily and ask him if he is ok everytime he coughs but God will help us through this.

Baby #3 (our little gift)
