Dr brown bottles 😩

My two month old will only take dr brown bottles but when I take them with me they end up leaking all through my diaper bag!! 😩 even if they tip over a little on the couch or are uneven at all they leak into the cap and the cap leaks it out. Anyone else deal with this?! Im sooo annoyed with these bottles. My first too advent bottles and I had no trouble with them. This baby is picky and barely takes the tiny dr brown nipples. What do I dooooo?!?!?!

Dr. Brown’s has these little discs you can put in the top that will keep them from leaking while in transport - they come with the standard bottles. They do not come with the options bottles, but I never had a problem with the options bottles leaking.

My first LO used Dr Brown bottles. I found that they leaked if the straw got too much milk/formula in them. Even when feeding, you need to make sure the tip of the straw stays out of the milk. Otherwise the straw fills up and leaks out the vent holes. Same thing would happen if they tip over in a bag. Hope that makes sense.

Keep the vent out of the bottle until you feed baby

Try enfamil nipples. They are similar, but have exchangeable caps so they domt leak when in use. They sell the bottles and nipple separately. They are the only ones my sons will take

Besides the discs that you can put inside they also make screw on caps to put on it for travel. I just got some on amazon. A 6 pack for like $5.

We had the same problem.. our solution was to remove the vent and place back after heating/right before feeding, so it is not filled with milk... Hope this helps!

^agreed. When you heat up the bottle it pulls the milk up through the green tube. So wait to put those parts in until after heating.
