When to see a Dr.?

How long were you TTC before consulting a Dr? I’m only 23 and it hasn’t happened after nearly 7 months. Haven’t necessarily been trying but haven’t been preventing it either.

I’m 21 & it took my husband and I almost a year, too. The first time we used Preseed we got pregnant. Don’t get discouraged!! I think most doctors won’t do anything until you’ve been TTC for at least a year, from what I have heard. I was literally considering asking my doctor about it a week or two before I got a positive test so just keep trying and stay hopeful!

I’d try at least tracking ovulation for a few cycles before seeing a doctor. By 12 months you should definitely see a doctor if you discover you’re ovulating and hitting the fertile window.

My husband and I started when I was 19. My husband was 26. I did not conceive our first until days before my 22nd birthday. It took us two years and some months to conceive. It can take time. For any healthy couple it can take a year. It will happen for you. But if you go to the doctor they will tell you that you need to wait the year then come back for a consultant with them.

It took me 14 month to get pregnant. I think its after 18 months when you should consult your doctor.
