When to take ovulation tests?

How many days after the first day of your period should you begin taking ovulation tests?

When I first started using opks a year ago, I started testing the day after my period, because I really wasn’t sure when i ovulated and I didn’t want to miss It! I’ve since learned that I pretty regularly ovulate between cd 12-14, so I usually start testing around cd10 to cover my bases.

Answer

It depends on how long your cycle is. If you have a short cycle, probably wanna start around CD7. I have a 28 day cycle and I test from CD 10/11. I typically ovulate on CD 12/13
