Desperately wanted a girl, but I just had this gut feeling it was a boy! Of course, that gut feeling was right. We found out Friday we are expecting a little boy and my husband is over the moon! I’m pretty excited too I suppose, just worried about how much little man will take after daddy. I’m trying to figure out if having a miniature version of my husband is a good or bad thing. Leaning towards good. 😂

I am truly so excited for our little one to join us and for the first time my husband was able to be at my ultrasound. We were able to FaceTime while getting our gender scan. He loved seeing our baby and cried when the technician found the heartbeat and he was able to listen to it for the first time. It was such an amazing experience and we’re definitely both ready for this deployment to be over.
