Age gaps in a relationship

So I’m 19 years old, I’m currently talking to a 28 year old and we want to pursue a relationship, I’m just really nervous and scared because of the 9 year age gap and I feel like everyone will judge me. Has anyone had any experience with this or dating someone a bit older than them? I know at the end of day it’s my personal choice, I just need some help 😭💕
