Hey everyone, so my partner and I have been thinking and talking about eloping before our baby boy gets here in May. We were planning to go to court back in the middle of August of 2018 but I had a really bad car accident 08/01/18, so i just told him “hey let’s just wait until i’m done with all my medical treatment etc.” well a whole month later 09/18/18 in the middle of the night at 1am i took a pregnancy test and boom i’m pregnant lol. well now that i’m getting closer to entering my third trimester, and will have a just a couple of months left before baby arrives, we’ve been talking about eloping. Obviously having our family and my close friends (his best friends live in Las Vegas & Kansas! so he doesn’t think they’ll be able to make it.) but I know I DO want my dream big wedding one day! but for right now that just doesn’t seem to fit in, i’m still in college I have two years left, and he already has a really good job. But i want my big wedding when we both feel a lot more financially stabled and have the funds to go all out! so my main question is what do you think and advise we should do? should we just elope and than perhaps years down the road just have our big ceremony wedding? (i’m mexican, & catholic and my mom wants us to have a big wedding down the road, just like i do!) so what are your thoughts? thanks!
