What age did your LO start daycare?

No judgement here. I was a SAHM but with baby #3 on the way, I feel we’re going to need a second income. I don’t know what’s a good age to put the baby in daycare? When did you feel comfortable?

My baby will start at 18 months. They don’t usually take them here before 12 at the earliest. But our maternity leaves are 12-18 months so I guess it makes sense l.

19 almost 20 months.  She's been in daycare a whole year as of last week.  Best decision we ever made!

We did 8 weeks. I had another 4 weeks of maternity leave, but opted to take it as Fridays until they were all up. That being said, we are lucky enough to only need daycare 2 times per week. I think younger is better in terms of easier transition for them. It seems like the older the child, the worse the separation anxiety. The same cant be said of course for the parents, but I think that's difficult no matter what!

My son started at 12 weeks because that’s when my maternity leave was up. It was harder on me than him, but it got easier on me after the first couple weeks. Now we all love daycare.

My first 3 yrs my 2nd 3 yrs my 3rd 3 yrs my fourth I stayed home. By that time I had a newborn and a 5 year old already in day care. Plus we had to pay for child care when we had my stepdaughter and for the 3 kids that would be a ridiculous amount.

He was supposed to start at 4 months (bonus to being teachers with a May baby!), but my health was bad and I was placed on long term disability. I was cleared to return to work when he was 7 months.

I’m gonna put my baby in headstart at around 3. That way she’s at the age where she can tell me what’s going on and if somebody did something to her . Until then, she’s 6 months now and I’m gonna start working just a couple hours a day ( 3 1/2 ) Monday -Friday . When i do that, my mom will be watching her for me
