Ok...I need some unbiased opinions.

I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant. My shower is this Sunday, Feb 10th and my sister is hosting. I’m incredibly thankful for her hosting and overall, we generally have a decent relationship.

However....the issue is this. She sent e-invites a month ago. Great. I’ve had my registry basically done (Target) aside from a few minor tweaks and changes for at least two months.

Since she sent the invites out, I’ve peeked at the registry and realized this weekend that only two things have been purchased from it. I started to think maybe people weren’t coming to the shower, etc and got a little worried.

My best friend, who is helping her plan it, mentioned to my sister that I was worried people weren’t going to come. My sister snapped and chewed me out about her being so damn busy, etc. With her being the older sister, I kind of just let it go (relationship dynamics)...

Well, come to find out....SHE DIDN’T PUT THE REGISTRY INFO ON THE ORIGINAL INVITES.

She did send a reminder email out today that has it on it, but makes it sound like I ‘just finally got it done’ and that it was my fault the info wasn’t out earlier.

Now, I get paid once a month. I’ve been buying diapers and some other stuff each month, but she and my mom (and everyone...) kept telling me to just wait until after my shower to buy things to fill in the gaps. Well....now it’s 5 days before the shower and EVERYTHING is still on my registry. And due to a high risk pregnancy, I’m being induced early, which means I have ONE pay check left. We have some savings, but I don’t want to have to touch it just because of this.

Please....this feels incredibly greedy of me and I don’t want to bring it up to anyone and seem ungrateful.

So...am I being super irrational and just pregnant emotional??? Thanks for reading...I know it’s long.
