Do you count your babys age by weeks or to the date of their birthday?

So my baby is technically 16 weeks (4 months) on Wednesday. But he was born on the 17th.. are you counting months by the weeks or birth date??

Mine will be 4 months on the 17th too!

Day of the month because not every month has 4 weeks in it. Plus they turn 1 on the day they were born, so if you go by weeks, they wouldn’t technically be 1 on their birthday.

Birthday because all months besides February are more than 4 weeks. And even February is 4 weeks and 1 day every 4 years.
