Hey everyone. I'm a bit torn. I'm 19, married, and pregnant with what would've been our 5th child but due to medical reasons is our first. My father is extremely abusive and has been since I was a child. We are currently living on the same property (he lives in a 5th wheel on our land) and I'm starting to show more and more (currently at 6 weeks with possible twins/triplets). My father and I share the same state assistance benefits because in WA if you're under 23 and share an address you have to share the resources/essentially be on the same plan as your parents. Well with this government shut down and me eating more and more we are currently broke and on the verge of starving. I want to apply for the extra benefits I can get with being pregnant (y'all know how bad the munchies are), but I'm worried that if he finds out he's going to beat me to the point of miscarriage. I can't evict him from our property because I'm considered his personal caregiver (he's 67 and most days can't get out of bed). And they will not give me my own account to recieve benefits on. Any ideas on what I could do? I'm open to anything currently..
