So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4 years.. he bought me a promise ring almost 2 years ago and during the summer I threw it away because we had a really bad breakup and I thought for sure it was the end.. fast forward to about a month ago, he mentioned to me that he wanted to get me a new one and told me to send some that I really liked, so I did. With Valentine’s Day coming up he asked me which ring I wanted and neither one was the one I sent 😩 I don’t wanna sound ungrateful but I really don’t want either one. What should I do???

Edit: okay, y’all are DRAGGING me in the comments LMAO so I just want it to be known I 100% appreciate him and the thought, especially because I threw it away.. but I don’t feel like I should receive a gift that I genuinely don’t like. I want to be honest with him and clearly he cares about whether I like it or not or he wouldn’t have asked me so y’all need to relax 😂
