Baby shower?

How far in advance would you send invites to a baby shower? This is my firs baby shower. I was wondering if I should do it a month before, a few weeks, just let me know your opinion

We sent them out at the beginning of December, the 7th I think. My shower was January 19th. We had a lot of people coming from out of town though. 😊

A month in advance gives time to people to get their things in order & then i just also sent a reminder text to people who still hadn't rsvp'd by like 2 weeks and then after that i made my official guest list.
