Mom was right! Decisions made as an irresponsible teen affects your adult life.

Worked two jobs at 18yrs old to go off to college, saved up a good $10,000 to help with rent and living costs. Got 2 credit cards to also “help” with school expenses (laptop etc) ya right! Blew money on clothes and god knows what else!! Screwed over my credit sooo bad😩 Just irresponsible and dumb when it came to money, never paid my card on time. Fast forward a few months later and I drop out of college due to depression and just stress. Moved back home to try and get my life in order, impulsiveness set in and decided it was a smart decision to move out with my best friend a couple months later! We spent most of our money on pizza, rent, shopping and other random useless shit. Fast forward 5 months and moved back home AGAIN to start college in the fall. I got a full time job and worked my ass off again to get some money to pay off my debt from 2 years ago. Decided to get another credit card to try and build up my credit again, FAIL!! Same story with that card... just irresponsible. Here I am 23 years old, no good credit. Unable to get a loan, forget a mortgage!! We have a 6 month old son, who I want so badly to grow up in a home we can call our own. Really wishing I had that $10,000++++ saved up to help us reach our goals. Time to GROW UP! Just needed to rant 😡😡 Never been more mad, disappointed and ashamed of who I am.
