Breast pump - are you bringing it with you to the hospital?

Is anyone bringing theirs with them to the hospital? I’m a private patient (Australia) and I’ll stay in the hospital for 4 days. What are you mamas doing / what have you done in the past? Good luck Feb Mums!!!

I’m bringing mine so I can get instructions to make sure I’m using it right/have the correct size  shield thing.

I don't believe pumping is recommended until after 6 W

Our hospital provides them however i won’t need to pump until my milk comes in, which I’m sure will be after I’m discharged. I am bringing my pump though so i can be taught how to use it, not actually pump!

I wish I would have. My hospital only hand a hand pump which wasnt much help

I’m not bringing my pump but I am bringing the breast shield so the consultant can help with sizing, just to make sure I have the right size

Nope ours provided a hospital grade one.all the hospitals a around us do. In fact I still haven’t received my double pump from insurance so we had to go buy a pump
