I have a friend who brung her newborn baby to the pedestrian for a check up. The doctor CUT OFF the stump with scissors and cauterized it. The cord part is still connected, it looks green and squishy. Her nor me have never heard of this. Now if it was me I wouldn't have let it happen.. as my daughters just fell off. Looking at it he didnt even cauterize the part that needed it. He burned the skin that had already healed. Now it's bloody and leaking some watery stuff where he cut it off. She doesnt want to use alcohol at all. Also you can tell it is hurting the baby and fights when mom tries to clean it. We need some advice
