Angular cheilitis??

Question

Has anyone else ever experienced this (cracks in the corners of your mouth) very dry and painful and won’t go away no matter how much/what kind of chapstick I use. Been there for a couple weeks now 😫 my midwife today said it looked like a cold sore but I 100% disagree.

I’ve had that before!! When I was on accutane. Mine ended up looking like a cold sore too but it wasn’t. Is there a chance you’re a vegetarian or have a vitamin deficiency? That can cause the cracking.

I had it when I was really sick with all day sickness. I think I got it from stretching my mouth while throwing up so much. I’m 20 weeks and finally feeling better and they went away on their own. I’ve also read it could be due a vitamin deficiency
