Anybody else or am I being dumb?

I feel like I'm being really stupid and emotional but it literally bothers me and hurts my feelings when my boyfriend just says "love you" instead of "I love you". I cant even explain my reasoning🤦🏽‍♀️

That doesn't bother me, but what does bother me is when someone leaves out the "too" if they're the second person to say it.  It sounds so negating and stressful to me, like they're denying that I love them. Oooo it leaves me miserable. My husband knows how I feel and would never do it though.

u shld let him know!! its not a big thing to ask for so it doesnt matter so much if ur otherthinking it or not. it bothers u, and thats enough.

I’ve never heard of someone being upset over this tbh. My husband and I often just say “love you.” The “I” is obviously implied.
