How do you decide on a name?

How did you find a name that both you and your partner liked?

We both wrote down our top 10 favorite girls names and boys names and saw what we had in common. Or there is an app called Kinder than you and your SO can link together and swipe like tinder for baby names.

We don’t have a girl name yet and boy name came from the gold rush show lol we both love Parker for a Boy!

We named my daughter Lilly after his grandfather.  It was what his grandmother called him (nickname).  If it was a boy his name was going to be Hogan Lyle.  Lyle was his grandads name.

We like family names and we decided that each child would have one name from each side. 
So, we just start listing off names and stop at the ones we like, then we try to come up with combinations that sound good together.

Just started suggesting names until we both were in agreement. We are still struggling on the middle name for our 2nd though. I’m going to win it though because he just wants to use the same middle name for our 2nd as our first... yeaaa... no.

We didn't really decide. We were watching a movie (before even getting pregnant) and heard a name and both fell in love with it.

Just kept suggesting names until we agreed on one. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Made a note on my phone with a list of ideas. Sat and discussed them and decided what we liked.
