Placebo Pill on BC Pills

I’ve been taking birth control pills for about three months now. I was wondering if its okay if I skip the week of placebo pills and go straight into a new pack.

Are there any benefits or downfalls in doing that?

I spoke to my nurse about it and all she said was “go for it.” I wish I asked more questions.

Today is my last active pill on the pack so I have about 24 hours to decide if I want to skip or take the placebo pills! Please help haha thank you :)))
