I’m so excited! I’ve been worrying that my insurance (BC/BS) wouldn’t cover the NIPT genetic test or NT ultrasound. For reference, I’m 31 years old, 13 weeks pregnant, and am considered low risk based on family history. My midwife’s office scheduled the testing anyway and called my insurance company to ensure that it was covered. To my immense relief, my insurance company will cover the testing!! Woo! Had my blood drawn this afternoon and will have the NT ultrasound on Friday. Fingers crossed for a healthy baby!!
