IUI Cycles, Stress, Life.

Shannon

So my husband and I have been TTC for 3.5 years. We did 1 IUI cycle over a year ago and discovered at that time that hubbys little swimmers didn’t have the numbers and just didn’t wanna swim as well as they should. After year of treatment, that have improved and gave us the green to try again with IUI cycles. We did our 1st last month and got a BFN, and my period came even before my 2 week blood check( which did come back negative) they encouraged to go right back into it. Did first testing, said everything looks great, but upping my meds this cycle to try to produce even more and bigger eggs. Which, last month I already had 6 healthily sized eggs (and a few other smaller ones they said that “they weren’t counting”) and struggled hard with the triggers as I cramped and was in some hard core pain.

With that, I work a pretty high stress and demanding job for people with disabilities and currently started covering part of a case load for a co-worker that just went out on maternity, upping my already high case load by 25%. Plus, my husband is in charge of the Elks lodge this year which is high demand on him, but me as well being there and preparing for events.

So, were I am going, is how has everyone handled stress, high demand, and life in general with all of the high hormone levels. I’m not one that “swings”, cramps, or has rough periods during normal months, do not sure how to deal with all of this. I’m still struggling with the negative of last month, but trying to be positive for this cycle, but the hormones are driving me nuts.

Help?
