Is it tacky to put your baby registry on Facebook?

I’ve got friends and family that don’t live around here, I’ve thought about putting the link on Facebook but I don’t wanna seem like a greedy bitch lol

I would create a private group to share it with just close family and friends

Just say something like “I’ve been getting a lot of messages from people asking where I’m registered so I thought I would just make one post instead of responding to everyone individually.”

If they want to get you a gift they’ll ask about a registry. Posting it on Facebook isn’t appropriate

YES!!!!! If people ask then you send it via message, email, text, etc. But posting it is tacky af. Sorry, not sorry.

This is exactly what I did. I had people asking me about it so I just put the link up on Facebook saying people were asking. We are not asking for anything,  but for those wondering here it is.

I posted mine with a disclaimer that I’m not looking for handouts, just had to share it there because my family is so spread out. It’s not like I’m personally messaging it to anyone, they can scroll on by and not feel obligated.
