One and done what’s wrong with that?

I love my son. He is amazing and I can’t imagine life without him.
I love kids but I only want him. I do not want more. I get so much grief from family and friends who just can’t accept that is how I feel.
I know I can’t be the only one who is happy with one. It kinda sucks that people don’t respect that.

That stinks that people can’t just be supportive. I honestly would be happy with just my daughter, we are going to try for another in a few months but if it doesn’t happen I am totally fine with just her. I am actually nervous about having a second because I don’t want to take away all the attention she gets from us, that is why we are waiting until she is a little older because by then she will be more independent and not need us as much. We shall see. But I totally understand your decision and people should respect and support it!

Someone always has something the say. In my case it’s the opposite. People find out I want more kids and they question why. 🙄

I have twins so I am done but both my sisters have one son each and they are done too. We are trying to raise them close to their cousins since my nephews won't have siblings but honestly, they are ok with it and not stressed. They get a lot of questions but they don't give a fuck!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I’m a firm believer that some kids need siblings, and some don’t, and typically you’ll know by the time they are a few years old. I didn’t need them, but I did want them. With that said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having one.
