Hcg level at 3w 6d?

I got my blood drawn today and it was 48. Im 3 weeks 6 days and 14 dpo. My period was supposed to come today. I go back in for a re draw in a week but I don’t know if I can wait that long. We miscarried our son at 17 weeks and im freakin out that this is just another start of something bad. Please ease my mind or give me some success stories of people who started out “low”.

just an update for everyone. they brought me in today to retest and my levels were at 330!!! so they are very happy with the results! i get my third and final blood work on thursday and then an ultrasound in 2 weeks!

It’s waaaay too early for you to be nervous. I mean, just think: you probably only had implantation less than a week ago. I’ve still had negative blood tests that early and my kids are all here and they’re fine. I’m not just trying to be reassuring. Your hug will start ramping up more after you’ve actually missed your period. You’re normal. And congratulations!
I’m very sorry about your loss. I’ve had a late pregnancy loss myself and I know how challenging the subsequent pregnancy can be. But right now I’m guessing everything’s going the way the doctor would expect. 🤗

Mine was low at 3 weeks as well.  I’m 29 weeks now

It seems normal to me. My hcg at 12dpo with my last daughter was 38, so 48 at 14dpo seems in the realm of normal. I wouldnt worry too much! But go get it checked again soon and make sure it's doubling

That’s not necessarily low. There’s a broad range of accepted levels... what matters is that your numbers at least double every 2 days. Why are they making you wait a week for another blood test?

Who’s telling you it’s low? You’re only JUST pregnant. If it weren’t for early response tests, you probably wouldn’t even know you’re pregnant yet.
