A story time #Girl code
This just happened yesterday and I’m still embarrassed. So it was the end of lunch(by the way I’m in high school and there’s three lunches. I sadly have third) I started my period a day before this happened I’m on so my second day. I felt good and totally forgot bout my period or the whole existence of one. Although a teacher that my friend has said as we walked pass her classroom and she says to us

“Watch out your friend has been in a bear attack” because I was wearing ripped jeans but I laughed it off and said “Yeah tons of bears” but honestly it made me feel so insecure like I’m already on my period thanks for making it worse. So I had felt bad about that plus I was tired from studying for my AP hug unit 4 test I had stayed up till 12:00am(that maybe not seem late for you but it is for me. I call going to sleep at 10:00 late sis)

I had a pad on and everything but I had it on for almost 9 hrs.(please don’t be grossed out by me still trying to remember to change it every so often. I have only had my period for a year and it’s still not consistent) It was 1:00pm so I’m walking to class saying bye to one of my friends and it’s only me and my other friend. My school has a big population and the hallway we were going through was crowded like usual. As I’m trying to get through the sea of annoying higher schoolers/my peers. A girl comes from behind me and taps my shoulder and whispers “You have a bright red stain on your pants.” And I’m like 😳😫 then I say “Thanks, girl code.” *Fist bump* 🤜🏿🤛🏼

I grab my friend dragged her to the bathroom(luckily we were right next to the bathroom) We wait till the amount of girls in the bathroom lessened and I tell her the situation. So my friends next class is with the teacher who made the comment and she counted her tardy one time and was lowkey rude about it. So she had to go to class so she could make it on time and I went to the nurse. Now let me tell y’all I’ve visited the nurse so many times because I bleed through my paints during my freshman year.(it’s my sophomore year now) The nurses at my school are like soooo nice my previous nurses in middle school I wish I could say the same. Well that’s my story. I’d like for you guys to give me any tips so this doesn’t happen for the millionth time 😀🥰
