i’m only asking this question because when anyone asks about what background my family is i don’t know what to say. my abuelita (great grandmother) was born in spain, then adopted and raised by spanish parents. my her daughter, my grandmother, was born and raised in puerto rico. so is my background puerto rican or spanish? also could someone explain the difference between hispanic and latin(x)? i know there’s a difference but i’ve tried searching online and there’s a lot of unclear answers.
