Hospital bag??

What will the baby and I really need for the hospital??? What did/will you put in your bag?

Don't forget your phone chargers for you and any support people that'll be with you.
And going home clothes for you and baby.
Anything that makes you comfortable. Labor gown/robe if you want. Aromatherapy if they allow you to and you want to. Your music and what not.
Every class I've taken they say to pack light. You really don't need that much.

Pack only what you need. Don’t forget 
hair bands
chapstick
phone charger. 
Breast pads
A comfy going home outfit, you will leave the size you are at about 7 months along. NO jeans (unless maternity)
Flip Flops, slides or slippers. (Just wear them there because you won’t need sneakers!
I only wore a hospital gown until it was time to go because things are just messy!!
As far as baby bag goes: Bare minimum needed!!!
You will leave with soooo much extra then you come in with.
I only packed 2 outfits (including hats); 1 for pics and 1 for going home, 2 blankets (1 to cover the car seat and one on the baby. 
Jacket if it was winter
No need for diapers, lotion, soap etc. because the hospital has it and you will have extra. What they put in your room they throw out so they don’t care if you take it. 
And if you are doing a baby book bring it with an ink stamp and ask for them to stamp it at birth.

I called my hospital and asked what they provided and then was able to pack today (34 weeks 2 days) without feeling like I was bringing everything.

Things I wish I had brought include lotion, tums, lipgloss, earplugs, and a sleeping mask... even if you're getting a private room if you're anything like me you wake up to every single little sound that baby makes. Having the earplugs in it helps you only register when they are crying and you will get so much more sleep. Same thing with the sleeping mask. Nurses come in and check on you in the middle of the night it's much better to not be blinded by the light... or if you are in labour all day and need to sleep during that time.

I brought my pump which was so helpful 
I wish I brought chapstick. My mouth got so dry during the pushing part of labor I had to put lotion on them. 
I wish I brought a bigger size of shoes (aka borrowed from friend) I was so swollen I couldnt get on mine at all
Phone and charger
I honestly brought Sprite sodas because I didnt know if the hospital had any (they did).
