What do I do?

We have two kids. I had some issues during pregnancy but nothing major. The only thing stopping us from baby 3 is that we would have to buy a bigger vehicle which we just cannot afford. It’s completely financial and I’m devastated because I want one so bad. What can I do? Taking more hours at work is not an option. Has anyone else been in my shoes?

Can you possibly trade it in for a bigger vehicle?

Maybe wait a couple months and save up for more of a down payment to make notes cheaper? 
Also if one of your children are close to being old enough to not use a car seat then I would wait until they are old enough to sit in the seat which will leave more room for just 2 car seats.

I say wait for a while until you feel secure in your finances. Enjoy the two you have for now and I’m sure in the future you will find that both you and your husband are making enough and debt is all paid. Then adding to your family will be more of a joy than added stress on your finances.

If purchasing a vehicle is difficult enough to stand in the way of having children, it may not be time to add another baby to the mix. Maybe focus on building up some savings and getting more financially secure before adding another source of expenses/mouth to feed?
