Combination feeding for twins?

Question for all those twin mums, I’m 22 weeks with my boy twins and am trying to plan! I want to breastfeed the boys but I fear that it will be a lot for me to handle! Has anyone tried combination feeding? And if so, any advice? Thank you in advance!!!

Since my boys were born at 35 weeks and in the NICU I made the decision to pump and bottle feed them... it has worked well as others can help with feedings!

I exclusively pump 5 times a day and then tandem bottle feed them. I use the twin z pillow propped up. They get 1-2 bottles a day just formula cuz I don’t make quite enough milk but I’m pretty close!

I plan on doing this!  This is what I’m thinking..while I nurse one, my husband will formula feed the other. Next feeding, we’ll switch babies. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t know if it will work as well as I’m thinking, haha, but that’s my plan! I’ll be 34 weeks tomorrow!

I love tandem feeding my twins. Its easier than combo feeding, at least for us. Mine got to used to the bottle where they would get upset that they didnt get instant milk. I EBF during the day and then supplement with my milk and maybe 1-3 oz of formula a night with the breastmilk to help my boys sleep longer.

I'm breastfeeding, pumping, and we supplement one feed a night with formula just so they build up a tolerance for it in case my supply dips (so far, I'm producing more than they need but that could change so I want to be prepared).
Pumping is a lot of work but it's so useful to have other people feed them and sometimes it's easiest for me to just bottle feed both at the same time. Tandem breastfeeding is pretty challenging but so much less prep and cleanup. One of my twins has a hard time tolerating formula (even the single bottle per 24hrs that we are doing). In general, the formula makes mine grunty and constipated.
