I am 12 weeks today and I was barely able to find the heart beat this morning. I think I couldn't find it before because I was looking too high up (by my belly button area). I got super low like just right above the pelvic bone and I was finally able to find her. Maybe try going a little lower :)

I agree, watching YouTube videos helped me a ton finding my first ones heartbeat! But also, do you know where your placenta is? I could not find my first heartbeat till almost 19 weeks because I had an anterior placenta and I'm already a chubby girl so it was like baby was being muffled by a fluffy pillow lol. 
Im getting my doppler back from a friend to try with this new one. I'm 13 weeks, placenta is in the back and I'm 40lbs lighter than my last pregnancy so hoping I can hear something!🤞

It took me a good week to find the babies heartbeat. Do you know from an ultrasound around where your baby is? I know my baby always sits to the left of my abdomen
