I am posting this in the August 2019 group which I sadly wont get to be a part of anymore. I am posting because when I found out I had an enlarged yolk sac I searched for answers but never got anything.

A little about me I have a beautiful 3.5 year old daughter who I got pregnant easily with and had an uneventful and healthy pregnancy and delivery.

My husband and I decided to make her a big sister spring 2018 and unfortunately we miscarriage spontaneously at 6 weeks in June 2018.

We started trying again September 2018 and I had a chemical pregnancy October 2018.

We found out we were pregnant again early December 2018 and we were so excited we thought this is it! We wont miscarry again. The baby looked great on the first dating ultrasound and heartbeat looked great but weirdly was 1 week 1 day behind my period dates but I thought oh well my cycle has been weird since the miscarriage and chemical pregnancy and didn't pay it much mind.

Towards the end of January things were looking great and we were starting to get "cautiously optimistic"but found out we had an enlarged yolk sac. I have never heard of this and didnt even know what it meant but after some research found out it cant be good.

Fast forward 3 weeks to my 11 week 5 day ultrasound and checkup and no heartbeat was found and embryo stopped growing at 9ish weeks. Missed miscarriage.

I am sorry to anyone out there looking for hope like I was after finding out about the enlarged yolk sac but I just wanted to share my story...I hope this doesnt happen to you. 🤞

Our time will come to make our girl a big sister and I cant wait..🌈❣
