I really like this quote a lot, especially in regards to pregnancy loss, where society tends to expect mothers not to announce their pregnancy until 12+ weeks because there's a chance they may lose their baby which leads many women go infer their babies didn't matter (to the outside world) because they didn't meet some societal marker. So they're left to clean up their grief in silence but it always finds its way back. 💔

Grief is a journey that is never over. I love this:

Yes, my husband died unexpectedly, but that does not mean he is no longer a part of my life. Over time, I will heal, but he will never not be a part of my life. I see and feel him often. I see him in our son. I hear him in a song he used to sing for me. I make my choices and live my life in a way he would have been proud of.

Not necessarily about just grief but this quote really helped me understand the differences in some of my feelings when I couldn’t seem to separate or get through them.
