Will 0-3month be to big?

I'm ordering my sons going home outfit for the hospital. He will be small, probably 6.5-7 lbs. 
*Me and his dad were both around 6.5 lbs and there have been no babies bigger than 8 lbs in the family. 
I really want to order the green but size NB is only in white. Would the 0-3month look to baggy and bad for photos and stuff?

You don’t know he’s gonna be small. So it might be to big and possibly to small. You never know 🤷🏻‍♀️

How do you know he’ll be small? They told me my baby would be 7-7.5pounds and he was 10.2 and 23 inches long! I had to send my mom to our house to get bigger clothes because he didn’t fit in newborn clothes (or diapers) lol. 0-3 should be fine but you could take more than one outfit to be safe.

I’d order one of each size. If NB is too small save it for a shadowbox maybe? ... there’s no way to tell if he’ll be big or small, even if both you, Dad & everybody else in the family were.

Can you find clothing dye the forest green you want and dye it yourself? My daughter was 7# 11oz and was in NB when she was born

My son was 8 pounds 1.7 ounces at birth and still wore newborn clothes for a good 3 1/2-4 weeks. 
Also, when I was pregnant with my daughter the doctor said she wouldn’t be bigger than 6 1/2 pounds and she was 7 pounds 13.4 ounces. So I think you will definitely need newborn

My son was 8.9 and 0-3 was still huge on him. He fit into newborn for like 3 months.

It might be but you never know. They told me my son was almost 8lbs and he came out 6.5lbs, and wore newborn size for a month until he was almost 10lbs and 0-3 started to fit. 
I’d order the 0-3 but also have a backup outfit in a smaller size.

My son was 7lb 15oz at birth, he didn’t fit into 0-3M until he was almost 1 month old.
