Cough drops? Heart beat at 8 weeks?

Is it safe to have regular cough drops? I caught a nasty cold. 
On Thursday I have my first appointment with the obgyn. Will I be able to hear the heartbeat?! I’m so excited!

Read the ‘manual’ of the coughdrops or google them. Can be anything in it that may or may not be harmfull during pregnancy...
Although maybe soothing for your throte, these things do not really help anything for your cold FYI. So a nice thymesirup can maybe also do the trick for you😉

My doc said I could use a few regular cough drops, but everyone is different. So certain conditions may keep your doc from saying something that is okay for someone else may not be okay for you. With any type of medicine related things I'd always double check with your doctor or nurses.
