Successful Cerclage?!

Hi ladies have any of you got or heard of any successful cerclage stories with NO BEDREST?
My doctor doesn’t believe in progesterone shots or bedrest and said the cerclage will do its job. Looking online the success stories quickly change when someone puts a negative post up. 
I’ve just had my cerclage placed at 18 weeks and I previously miscarried at 22 weeks!

I had a cerclege put in at 16 weeks, no bed rest just restricted activity (no long driving, excessive exercise, heavy lifting etc). No shots. I am 32 weeks 😊

Hmm.. thats strange to me. I am highrisk for preterm labor and my high risk OB started me on the shots at 16 weeks and will be checking my cervix every other week to see if a cerclage is needed. Not sure, if that does happen, if I will continue the shots or not... I have heard that some docs dont do the shots if you get a cerclage... following as I would like to know too. Going to get cervix checked again tomorrow. Sending hugs!
