Doppler for at home use??

I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on using a doppler at home? I was thinking of buying one but I am in no way shape or form a medical professional and don't want to harm my baby.

I read the biggest issue with them is the anxiety it can cause when mums can’t find the heartbeat.

They won’t cause harm but they can cause iMessage stress. I have one I used to use it daily until I felt movements everyday now I don’t really pick it up ever.

It's nice for early on before you feel the kicks! I used one with my second pregnancy and will with my 3rd too

My doctor didn't even use one on me before 13 weeks. She said it was too much for the little embryo. I got regular ultrasounds instead and we could see the heartbeat.
