Cold?

Question

Anyone take anything for their cold? I’m so miserable and it’s blizzarding here, so getting to my doctor today is pretty impossible since I live 30 minutes from him. 🤧

My midwife said no cold medicine is totally safe. She recommended a humidifier, a netti pot, and saline spray. The good news is colds rarely last longer than 10 days. Hang in there

When I had a cold when I was pregnant, I spoke to a local pharmacist about what was safe. She had this book about all different things I could try. I ended up taking a safe cough medicine, using a water soluble (pregnancy safe) eucalyptus oil in a humidifier. I also used saline in a nebuliser but I already had that available to me because I’m asthmatic. Also saline nasal spray helped.
