Keto diet!???

Keto diet anyone?? Doesn’t it works? I been researching a lot about it, what are your thoughts...??

My thoughts - it’s not healthy, it is not sustainable long term, when your body goes into ketosis all of your organs have to work that much harder and eventually if doing this long term will cause permanent damage

All these naysayers.... I loved it, as did ALL my doctors. Lost almost 40 lbs, regulated my cycles, my insulin resistance was fixed AND I got pregnant (I have PCOS). Talk to your doctor about it, the pros and cons (nothing is ever perfect). Also, when I started to reintroduce fruits I didn't gain any weight back.

Fads dont last 10+ years for one. You're not starving yourself 2. If done wrong it can be unhealthy but when done right you will feel so much positive changes and be healthier.  My PCP would squash all the unresearched opinions in a heart beat. Do your research before spitting lies, keto is healthy fats, low carb, moderate protein and ZERO processed foods and sugar which is everywhere your body's problems come from. 🙄

Personally, I don’t think it’s realistic. Most people sat they do it for so long then get off it then go back on it just like any other fad diet. Learn portion control and what foods your body needs so that you can make it a lifestyle.

Reaching the goal with a keto diet is another way to say "starving your body". It's a diet meant for people with diabetes to help with insulin. Not weight loss.
