Is a WEEK before my due date.

So... One of my good guy friends who is my husbands best friend is getting married. I happened to make good friends with the fiance in the last year and we have hit it off. She asked me to be a bridesmaid.

But when she asked me her wedding was suppose to be at the end of january. My due date is september 1... And because the groom may be deployed in november, they moved the wedding today to august 24th. 😒. They JUST got engaged on christmas, and i got pregnant around the same time and told them.

Yesterday i was there when she found her dress, and of course we discussed she could have a wedding anywhere from may-september. And she even asked when my due date was.... And i expressed my concern with having the wedding too close to my due date. My son was asked to be ring bearer yesterday... And my husband is a groomsman.

So today i had to tell her through text that we couldnt be part of the bridal party but we would try to attend the wedding if i hadnt given birth yet. My son came 2 weeks early... So i have a feeling it may happen again for me...

I feel awful, but hopefully i did the right thing.

I wanted to tell her in person yesterday but her mom advised me not to say anything bc she was emotional due to the deployment and an uncle passing
