I am on Day 7 of my norethisterone consumption. My dr. has prescribed me to take 2 5mg pills per day, 1 in the morning & the one in the evening, because my irregular (and this time, very long) period cycle. I’ve read up online that it’ll eventually stop my period until 2-3 days after I stop consuming it at the end of this pill cycle. BUT I’m still discharging dark brown blood on my panty liner since Day 2 and yesterday, I was surprised to see red blood and big clots discharged. And I’ve also experienced cramping since yesterday too.

What is going on down there? Planning to explain all this to my Dr. Would love to know if there are others who have experience in consuming norethisterone. Help!
