Newborn throwing up too much?

My newborn has been throwing up 2x a day and it’s a lot every time. Does anyone has same issue? The doctor thinks I might be feeding her too much but she doesn’t nurse for more than 10 minutes and she is now even waiting to eat every 2 hours (she was cluster feeding before) 😰 it just makes me so sad every time it happens, I feel like I’m doing something wrong and I don’t really know how to fix it.

Could also be reflux. My son had horrible reflux and had to be on zantac when he was an infant. He spit up after every feeding. Sometimes even projectile vomited so hard it came out hos nose. There was no amount of burping or keeping him upright that would prevent it. Meds helped, but only a little. So long as baby is gaining weight you are fine. Bring it up with your doc. Good luck. I still remember being constantly covered in baby puke.

My son has reflux and is on meds. They've helped tremendously. I recommend calling your physician and asking about acid reflux and your options

Maybe burp more frequently. Pace the feed so they’re not gulping. Reflux is common in babies, but doctors won’t turn right to medicine because it’s so typical. If your baby is still gaining weight your doctor might just keep an eye on it.
