Bright red bleeding with happy outcomes?

Question

I'm about 8 weeks. I went to the restroom this afternoon and had bright red blood on TP. I have not had any spotting or discharge at all this pregnancy. I'm feeling slightly crampy.
I've had a miscarriage before, so I'm very worried. I had a follow up ultrasound scheduled tomorrow morning anyway, and I'm hoping there's a reason for the bleeding other than miscarriage.

Just saw my little one with a strong heartbeat today at 8w1d. I had bleeding at 4w5d with clots and 5w5d no clots and both times it was bright red! Hope that helps!

I had bright red bleeding and a lot of it, like a period, at 6 weeks. I wasn’t cramping, but I really thought it was over. It turned out I had a subchorionic hematoma. I drank a lot more water and rested as much as I could. I just had a follow up appointment today at 10 weeks 4 days and it’s gone.

I had bleeding at 5 weeks 6 days and it turned out to be a subchorionic hemorrhage. Went back at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat and the hemorrhage was a little smaller. I'm 11 weeks now and no spotting since 6 weeks 2 days

At 10 weeks and 5 days I passed a large clot (golf ball sized or larger).  It was my second episode of bleeding but much heavier than the first.  I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage.
Baby is now 9 months old and very happy and healthy.
